SAFETY
Continued Commitment
In May, governors in Ohio and Florida announced that nonessential medical services could resume. By then, cross-enterprise teams at Cleveland Clinic had developed a bevy of new patient protocols to protect patients and caregivers alike.
Everyone entering Cleveland Clinic facilities now has their temperature checked and is asked to wear a mask upon arrival. Signs advise how and where to maintain safe distancing. Exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned before and after each patient visit. And valets sanitize high-touch areas in cars upon pickup and again at delivery back to the patient.
Says Adrienne Boissy, MD, MA, Cleveland Clinic’s Chief Experience Officer: “We will deliver and commit to what we always have — caring for you as a person and keeping you safe.”
