At Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 500-plus children ages 3 to 10 rode their bikes and scooters to
support pediatric cancer research at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. Participants included patients,
family members and friends, all united by a shared commitment to advancing research and improving outcomes for children facing cancer. Researchers whose work has been funded through VeloSano Trike & Bike grants attended the event alongside physicians, nurses and other caregivers, cheering on riders. “This event is a powerful reminder that every child and family touched by pediatric cancer has an entire community standing behind them,” says Rabi Hanna, MD, of Cleveland Clinic Children’s. “The funds raised through VeloSano Trike & Bike fuel innovative research that brings us closer to new treatments and better outcomes for our patients.”
