Cleveland Clinic Bulletin (later known as Cleveland Clinic Quarterly and Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine) launches. The first issue includes articles on “Treatment of Malignancy” and “Diverticula of the Urinary Bladder” by Cleveland Clinic co-founders George Crile Sr., MD, and William Lower, MD, respectively. The Editorial Department is led by Amy Rowland (pictured), Dr. Crile’s longtime associate.
